This strop is not too big, but very practical with adjustable sagging. I use it myself and like it a lot.

ChrOx paste is applied like crayon. Rub it in with some cloth and lighter fluid or a warmed up scraper. Also to be used with rotary tools.

Wool felt is an excellent protection, is aired, humidity repellant and easy to sterilise with steam. Polishes your scales as a side effect.

Those pins 2.5 bzw 3 cm long, so they even work for stag handles.
They are relatively easy to mount once you got the hang of it.
Simply assemble, cut down to appropriate length and hammer the head round with light hits.
